If you are searching for a gorgeous, natural and picturesque Kayak Swamp Tour – This Tour is For You! Paddle through dense cypress forest, expansive wetlands, and an array of wildlife on a tour that is ideal for beginners and adventure seekers alike!

Kayak tours are fully guided and last between 2 to 2.5 hours. The duration of the full tour will be up to 3 hours, with a 45 min drive from New Orleans.

Want to do something a bit different in NOLA, get out of the noise, learn about the swamp? Do this tour. I don't kayak, neither does my boyfriend, but we figured it out. Great experience with AJ, our guide. From pick-up to drop in, paddle, pull-out and drop-off, he was a considerate host, making sure everyone was comfortable and cared for. We saw birds, and gators! AJ knows a bunch about the area and his care for the swamp and city itself was clear. These are the kind of excursions that really make a trip great.
Pro Tip: Bring a TIP in cash, or be ready with Venmo... support local staff who make your New Orleans stay great.

We had a great time on this tour. It was just long enough, we saw lots of wildlife up close, and our tour guide Nick was easy-going and knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour to anyone planning a trip to New Orleans. It is appropriate for beginner-level kayakers.

We had a blast floating along the bayou learning about the Louisiana wetlands, listening to our guide details some history of the local Native American tribes, and taking in the local flora and fauna. No alligator sitings this time, but a fun afternoon well spent.
